I should wonder if among
the many books on these shelves
there may be one called:
A Short History of [You],
which might illuminate me on the subject of
your name
and
how you came to smile at me
today.
But if this book may not be found
on these wide wooden shelves,
perhaps we could take
a walk
and I will learn its pages
from you instead.
